That is a nice job!

I started to do something similar on my 54 Mainline, but as a quick repair I smeared the mud instead. Drove it for 6 years like that, never did get around to it.

Well,
I’m on my way. Got some sheet steel, approximately the same gauge. Been hand forming over some small round stock. Have the first 5 inch section tacked onto the car. Looking like it may be presentable
