I'm hoping one of you six-in-a-row experts will clue me in...I had to take the manifolds off my 58 Hell-ray to pull out a broken exhaust stud. I've never worked on a 235, so I need someone to lend me their expertise...is there anywhere I can find torque spec and sequence for the intake/exhaust manifolds online? Do I need to take the manifolds apart before I mount them up, or just leave them bolted together? Does the gasket go on dry? The intake didn't have any of the flat metal sealing rings in it when I took it off...is it supposed to? Thanks!!!

stovebolt

this info is from 42 year ago when I was a young buck and much smarter than now?????
tork w/ a 12" in wrench pretty tight
leave manifold bolted together- check with straightedge, may have to be planed if warped excessive:mad:
dry gasget
should have sealing rings, unless you have a 216 manifold on it

for the bolt tork rember they are 3/8 grade 5??
if you have ?? alignment a little silicone on gsgt could be good, they can leak vacume
