Fly by wire

I'm removing the accelerator pedal from an 03 Tahoe.
Do I need the part that has the hose or whatever it is left on??
The black piece with the stem on top is what I'm referring to.
Also, what is it????

I believe the part on right is auto pedal adjuster, left is position sensor

I didn't think of that. I don't want the pedal adjuster so I'll take it off and fix it solid.

Don't forget the TAC (throttle actuator control) module that mounts to the firewall just to the outside of the brake booster. Grab the harness that connects the 2 as well.
