I bought 3 or 4 led flashers and none of them have worked. Had hopes for this adjustable one i got today but it won't even light them up. Anyone have a brand that works? thanks curt

Is this for the Vettster? I haven't figured out yet why they say what they say about LED lights for turn signals. I'm running LEDs on the fronts of my 31 and everything I read told me I needed a flasher designed to run LED lights. But, I'm running a regular 2 prong flasher on my set-up and it works....[S

If there is a filament bulb in the line it will provide enough resistance by itself to activate the flasher. I will just have to use filament indicator lights to make a regular flasher work. Yep it's the vettester.

Thanks for explaining that! I'm running LED on the front and on indicators, but filaments on the rear lights...

I don't know the part # but NAPA has flashers that are for LEDs.

Led's have to be wired the right way or they won't work. Try changing the wires from one post to the other.

Yeah, I'm thinking you might need the polarity adapter OldIron mentioned. An LED flasher works regardless of what's in the system, it works off a timer rather than resistance as a regular flasher does. So if it's not flashing, it's probably either the polarity of the flasher or something else in the system.

Some LEDs need the use of a resistor to get the resistance correct. Kinda like a step down resistor that you'd use when converting from 6v to 12v on the wiper motor.

The LED's themselves have to be wired correct polarity also or they won't work.
Check your LED's with a battery to make sure you have them wired right, some of them have colored leads and some don't.

My experience with leds has been that they lite up on any flashers i use. They just never blink unless i put a filament in the circuit. I will look for that brand Dozer. Thanks for your input guys.

Very important that you have the polarity correct with LEDs as you can toast them. I leaned this the hard way wiring the after market tail lights.
Yes, you can you a regular flasher with LEDs, as long as you have a filament bulb in line.

Instead of using 1 filament bulb in each circuit, put a 200 ohm resister in each circuit and all the led will flash
