howdy

I have a holly 4 bbl bought at a swap meat
the numbers are 6R 4585 B
I have been looking on holly sites and cannot find this
carb I wanted to know what it is and what it is from

the number you posted shows it to be for a ford, but don't go by that, i need the list number off the air horn (drivers side choke horn) to be able to tell you for sure, post a pic because everything i find with that number shows it to be a 600 vac/sec. a double pumper, and a marine carburator. you get the list number and it will be no problem.
 
Oh, by the way, shoot us a pic and we can identify what family this mystery carb belongs to....that way we can tell you exactly what it is. Some of these things are vehicle specific if you look things up by that # you gave us.[P:rolleyes:[;)
 
it's a 4160 style vac/secondary 600 cfm from what i can tell. i like the holley carbs, build it and use it on a small and or stock motor, but if your motor is bigger then a 350 maybe a 400 are not stock you might want to find something alittle bigger. hope this helps you.
