Not a lot of progress. When we returned from Lethbridge we brought the grandson out for 3 weeks, been a lot of years since we had a 6 year old in the house that long, they can keep you pretty busy :D

Still waiting for the replacement four link to arrive, hopefully this week.
It's been really hot, too hot to work in the shop up until yesterday, light rain today and cool, so I got on a small project.

Mounting the Ram's head ornament, because of the curve on the bottom I had to get creative for mounting it to a flat surface.

Looking for opinions on the roller chain bumpers. The original bumpers were two flat bars running parallel across the front and bumperetes on the rear. There was enough chain to do a double front leaving me 4 15"pieces to do double bumperettes on the rear. The rear brackets are there and will need reworking. Tell me what you think? Height wise, Straight or curve the ends in slightly?

I like the front view, but from an angle / side not so much... actually, I think it looks totally perfect with no bumpers at all.... [dr

I got the passenger side bumperette, roughed in, kinda liking how they look.

I think I'd curl the ends in a link or so, not much, but enough to take the straight across look away from it.
On the rear, I'd mimic the curve on the original bumperette.

EDIT: You posted while I was typing, read my mind!

I'd do something like this...

I'll come help you bend it if you don't have the muscle. :p

I like that even better than just bending back the ends, has a good flow to it. How much shorter will it be though, couple of inches?
