i do wonder if white or grain bread is used....

I've done it with grease. but I like this method. I will have to try and remember this.

Yeah, I've used grease before too. It works good by itself if you get a tight fit with the rod. Never heard of the bread trick, but cool!

Looks like he used wheat bread. I would guess it doesn't need as good of seal as grease either. Awesome idea!

I have heard of wonder bread being used. As well as peanut butter ( Seriously. Smooth not chunky). Never heard of anyone using jelly yet.
Grease always worked for me.
