I came across this example by accident, just poking around the net. Great idea. I have a couple of the metal jerry cans that are a bit rusty, but otherwise in good shape. To buy it, it was $100. Since I have a couple to sacrifice, I think I'll give it a go. Yep....I need another project like I need another hole in my head, but this should be fun.

what sight did ya find them on ?

I'm not even sure now. It was a Jeep/Truck off road site. I was just bouncing around from site to site and came across it. Torchie found it at a better price than they had quoted on the off road site. I've seen another style using the same idea. This one opens up from the end and has the drawers, the other one had the whole side swing open. They had a jack, handle, tow strap and bigger tools in it. Both are cool ideas. Since I have a pair, I might try to do one of each just for the heck of it.

Ammo box battery holder, and gas can toolboxes, nothing is what it seems!!:D
