we are trying to redo doors for our '36 Diamond T. We are using donor doors from a '40 Diamond T that are the same. We removed the mechanisms from the '36 doors we will not be using in case we need parts from them at some point. The donor doors will need to come apart to be sandblasted/repaired. We cannot figure out HOW to get the door handles off! There seems to be a little hole near the latch that I can see the end of the door handle moving when you turn the handle, and I think that hole probably has something to do with removing the handle, but I can't figure out what! I'd driving us crazy! There is NO set screw anywhere to be found. The donor passenger door has a missing door handle, so we will definitely need to use the original door handle on it. Any help with how to remove this would be greatly appreciated!

This is what the end looks like out of the door. Should be a drive pin

thank you so much for the pics! That helps a LOT! Now just to find the end to those darn pins and see if they will come out!

these ended up being tiny headless screws, not pins. You have to move the handle ever so slightly to align the screw with the hole in the door to take the screw out to remove the handle.
