Added a couple more to the collection.

dam there is very cool stuff on this site....
ok ... I know the PU is not a rat rod,,,, however it had been rear ended hard enough it crushed the rear of the cab making it difficult to close the door ,, and the front had killed a tree.
in the truest sense the pu has had very little $$ put into it for parts . I repaired a Toyota grille , a Mitsubishi rear bumper - both freebies. Daihatsu bumper lights .. paint was left over and tinted / gold pearl.. the whole thing owes less than $1000,, including 2 motors and gearboxes to get a good pair ..
it makes a good cheap to run parts chaser, hay wagon, lumber truck , gravel hauling chicken roost....
now im getting into a real car again
1923 dodge bros 23 coupe,, of course it didn't have to be easy .. missing the 'upe off the back....

thanks !! as they all are never quite finished,, recently completed the full set matching spoke wheels. One of the original rims was accident damaged, and quite rare .. was lucky enough to spot one at our local recycle center.. $4 !! whizzed it round to my favourite tyre store.. woohoo ..
like cool finds like that ...

Street Altered?
Latest acquisition. Had a glass 32 Bantam roadster body, which the previous owner kept. A bit if measuring and guestimating looks like my other 38 Ford PU cab will wedge between the slicks with a bit of surgery, and the front tin (no fenders this time) will cover up the front.

I left a perfectly good one of those in Alaska, could not find tail lights for it.

Id put gas in it and drive , baby drive ,, Id say rat one if its a pile of tin , but one thats together Id drive it... Just my smelly ol 2 cents

Yeah, they are only original and/or all together once. I'd leave it alone and enjoy that originality. There are others that need help in a ratty or roddy sort of way. Getting it back to original would be a major pain after the cuttin' starts. ...

My son and I built thie '27 glass roadster for him about 15 years ago. He needed money to prepare his house for sale (he & his family are heading for Tampa, Fla) so I bought it. Like I needed another car. Brought it home today.

I like the color choice I dont know why but I painted my truck a similar color.. mine came from a 56 T-Bird

Mine had a 305 and was very fast.
