Dang, what’s up with all the spaghetti on the right side of the bay?[S

That's all the wiring from the factory harness. I haven't gone through all of it yet. Everything for this truck comes out that side

Cleaning degreasing and pressure washing. Then reassembly

Amazing. I think my harness in my Lincoln might be as big as your thumb, maybe 10 wires at most. But my 99 F150 and 05 Expy are probably as bad as yours, just in a loom so you can't see them. I can deal with simple wiring, but a spaghetti mess like that, no way I'm touching it! That's why I went carb instead of FI, I dislike computers and all the wiring!

Well it's funny because that is about half of what it used to be. We pulled out the computer that ran the fuel injection and all that a couple months ago. Some of that is gauges idiot lights indicator lights for the four-wheel drive. I'm sure there's some of it that will still go away. That will be the last thing that we do is wiring

I have an 89 F150 that I hate the EFI. It is primitive. I would love to swap to carb so I could ditch one of the 2 fuel pumps and make it a simpler system. Unfortunately the computer runs the trans so it wont work without more mods.Dist needs to be replaces too. Love the old cars where you could just change an intake or carb without all these peripheral problems. Jim

Built all the shock mounting locations today and got all four corners dampened! Also got drivelines measured and ordered

Built the parts to make the e-brake work. Also closed it up so it can go out side for the next month while I work on my own truck!

Looks cool! What's left to do?

There's still a pretty good list. The whole engine of transmission set up have to come back out because he wants the whole engine bay painted. I wanted to have all the fabrication work done before I did that. So when I bring it back in at the end of the month I will pull the engine and transmission back out. At that point I will also slide the front end back out so I can finish welding a couple things on the shock towers and I will undercoat the rest of the frame after cleaning it and paint the brackets. Then it's wiring and a little plumbing and some shifters. I ordered my drive lines last night

Well since my truck is almost done I resumed work on paying vehicles. Today I strip the truck back down in the front end. Remove the engine transmission in case along with the front axle. I've been proceeded to clean and scotch-Brite the engine bay for most of the day. I also did a little bit of finish welding on some gussets and bracing for the front end. By then laid down a good coat of self-matching primer on all my metal work while that was drying eyes finish the undercoating on the front part of the frame. Then before closing up the shop tonight I laid down a few coats of semi-gloss black

Engine, transmission and t case installed for final time!!! Also reinstalled the front axle for the final time!!! Steering got modified to fit the B2 and it is also installed. The owner wanted the engine bay painted black instead of body color. It does look good, just not Ford hahahaha
