Yes brushed is what I'm after. Sounds like a plan, have to locate the scotch pad and that paste.

i made this aluminum blister today to show the brushed look with the scotch brite and that paste. kinda hard to see but it hides a lot of the wheeling marks

anneal, hammer , english wheel, planish/ stretch, tipping die in the bead roller for the edge, english wheel. scuff with scotch brite. finished
