Bob - I think the rear area in the Rover looks like a sweet spot for a fold down rear facing seat...for fair ground cruising...[P

Methinks I'll go with Royal Blue wheels. Actually, the plan is to have spun aluminum discs, eventually. Those tires were on the wheels when I got them out of a boneyard. I'll need 4 new tires.

The opening for the tail gate is skewed instead of square. Creates a wedge shaped gap. I haven't figured out how to fix that yet.
My arthritic thumbs are really barking at me. Will probably lose a few garage days babying them.

Looking great, Bob! I got the same problem with the arthritis but most of mine is in my neck and back. It suck; we get pretty decent at building these old heaps and then our own bodies start falling apart.

The opening for the tailgate is quite a bit out of square. When my friends Terry & Lee (Tator here on RRR) closed up their welding shop they gave me a Porta power. Thought I'd never use it. Quite to the contrary, I've used it quite a lot. Here it is working pretty well to square up the opening.

Also got the tail lights wired today.

Yes, I'll bet there's many of us older hot rod builders here that are dealing with chronic aches and pains. Torchie is a great example of a fellow not letting his physical ailments prevent him from building.

Porta Powers are a great thing to have. You can nudge things into place instead of beating them there.

The sroke has slowed me down a bit. Howewver, I keep plugging along. The tailgate is mounted. Had to dig through the pile of junk I cut off the Rover to find the tailgate pivots. After proper modification They are welded in place. The gas tank is mounted and the gas flller is in place. I'm done in the rear.
Speedway has the lightest MII front springs so I installed them. It sat against the top so I cut a coil off. It's better but still has that gasser look. This thing is very light in the front and the engine sits back a ways. I hope the springs setttle. Put the seat tracks in and began the task of sticking Peel & Seal on the interior surfaces. The windshield is out at Crabby Dave's getting smoke tinted glass installed.
Took it off the jack stands and set it on the floor at ride height. It is a little cutie, if I do say so myself.

Got the windshield back from Crabby Dave and set it and the roof in place. Spent the day putting Peel & Seal in the interior. It's starting to look like something. I don't know what. It is really small. The pics don't show it. I'll hafta get a pic with a person standing by it for reference.

The box is wider than it is long. Thankyou for the nice comments, guys. On the medical front I went to a hand specialist and was informed I have Stage III osteoartiritis in my thumbs. With bone spurs. He fitted me with a splint. It is working very well. I hope I can get by with the splint and not have surgery. Old people are like old cars. Seems many of the parts wear out and need replacement.
