Hey everyone! So far from what I've see there is a lot of great info as well as some pretty bitchin' rides out there. I just recently purchased a 1964 F100 (Penny). I previously owned a 1966 GMC Suburban (The Beast). I'm pretty familiar with the rat rod scene and I absolutely love everything about it. I stumbled upon this site while looking for some vintage wheels for my f100. It currently has center lines on it, but I'm looking for steelies and fat white walls. My suburban had the steelies on them, but I'm having little to no luck locating me a set this time around. I look forward to sharing build stories as well as learning a few new tricks of the trade. I'm pretty novice when it comes to anything automotive, but I can't stay away. Looking to use the f100 as something to learn with.

Here are a few pics:

Welcome to RRR..

Instead of paying gobs of money for repop steelies I found mine at a swap meet, $10 a rim. $50 for sandblasting then rattlecan primed and painted them myself. Ebay had a deal on rubber and a local tireshop mounted and balanced them for a good ol' boy deal. :D

Bruno - I actually live in Valley Station, but I'm originally from Mt. Washington. However, my dad grew up in PRP. I want to say he graduated from PRP in 69, but I'm not 100% sure. Good to know there are other fellow Kentuckians here.

Skull, Sam_Fear, Dirtyrat, Rattlecan - thanks for the welcomes!

Graduated from Butler HS in 66. Being from Valley Station you must have known the Scotts of Scotts Interiors, worked for them for a few years after i retired.
