Not quite a muscle car....

Okay, this isnt exactly a muscle car, but it is sitting in my garage next to my muscle car and next to my rat rod. It is my 359 Peterbilt. In Arizona you can register them historic if they are over 25 years old and you do not have to pay any weight fees, so it only costs me 40.00 a year to register it, and I can pull my trailer with my cars in it. 425 HP Cat, 15 speed trans, 36 inch sleeper, Pete air ride, I enjoy driving it as much as anything else!!

That's cool as heck. Just curious, what kind of gas mileage does it get on the highway?

I run at 65 miles an hour, which with 370 gears gives me 1450 rpm. empty I can get 8 50 or
60,000 pounds I can get 6 and a half

That's not as bad as I thought. Sometimes it seems that my pickup doesn't get much better than that!

Thank you so much for that!! I love it, I have absolutely no reason to have it other than it is just a blast to drive to lunch or dinner once in awhile, of course it makes pulling a car trailer much easier...

Peterbilt was started by T.A. Peterman. In 1958, PACCAR, who already owned Kenworth, bought the company.

Nice Pete! I had a 377 a few trucks back, I should have kept it, it was a great truck. Here's my "daily driver" now-
