I was doing a little research and stumbled across the w-27 olds rear and I looked awesome. Come to find out they are super rare and super expensive. I did notice there is a w-27 cover for Olds 10 and 12 bolt. Its still a bit expensive if i can find a w30/ w31/ w32 rear but about $7500.00 cheaper than the real thing. My question is will this be hard to adapt to a mopar transmission? Also what are the pros/cons of the olds rear other than expense and availability???

Just want to do something different than the typical 9".

1.The guy that makes your driveshaft can put on any flange to mate to any rear end-trans.
2. Same reason I am using a 67 chevy rear end in my new build.

weld on...........[;)

mostly it's a giant waste of money.

buy a dana 60 with all the trimmings, and have a bullet proof drive train.

you can buy a fancy aluminium rear cover for the D60 and have tons of cash left over.

remember a fool and his money are soon parted.
