One more of those I forgot before pics

A 2" tear in the hood, replaced 2 1/2" of the return.

A little more tin in. The only bad is when I got in a hurry and tweaked the rear window frame down a 1/8" but should hide with the window rubber. On the down hill side. The pic with straight edge resting on the roof, there are no braces and the center infill is not clamped in, this roof is resting on it own.

Finished the pass side post. Cleaned up some welding in the door and window returns. Got the center strip clamped in to place, with any luck it won't shrink more then I'm thinking and will come out with a nice crown.

I know it will be asked. Cab is 51" sitting on the floor, front and side windows are 8 1/2" and the back is 4 1/2".

It does look good Mike!
I think thats about 1/2" more chop that I took on mine, but somehow it looks like a lot more on that cab... weird!

Either way, nice work!

Thanks guys, we will see what happens when I start welding it.

A little bed work for the cab I just finish up. Corner repair. one more heading down the road.

Ad 1 me 0

So I got in a hurry last night welding the center in. Started cleaning up the welds and some hammer work. One side came out real nice the other side not so good. Realized I forgot to clamp a joint so it couldn't pull and I did. Could of resorted to cutting half the roof out to fix it but decided to go back to plan A, sunroof. I'm kicking around the idea of a removable panel that can store behind the seats or a vinyl snap on cover.

On a side note, I now know why everyone doesn't like chopping these cabs.

After looking at the pics I need to fix that back window.

Fancy smancy.....

A sunroof.....sounds like a plan to me.....[cl

I'm not 100% on what I'm going with, I spaced out the screws so if I do go with a snap on all I have to do is add snaps.

Could not live with the rear window so it got fixed today.

Roof tin done

Finally the hard stuff is done. Overall look of the cab. It is going to need a little bondo skim to smooth out but all in all I'm happy with it. Now on to the door tops and interior.
