well ive got a shiny in the shop this weekend!

all steel 32 Plymouth coupe with a 302 ford and c4. 100% street rod, has power windows, power trunk hatch and electric door pops. I'm replacing the re shocks. the old ones had been miss adjusted and ran bottomed out and destroyed them. I found a few small leaks also.

LOL. Do you know how to work on shiny things.:p [ddd
Some body spent some $$$$ on that one.
Torchie.

No I really don't! They scare me LOL

You are right somebody spent a bunch of money on this thing and there is a lot of stuff that was left unfinished! I went through the steering this morning because the driver side steering knuckle was about ready to fall off of it. None of the steering joints had cotter pins in them and all of them were loose. It had a weird noise when you turn the steering wheel, turns out that one of the steering U-joints is grabbing a brake line on the frame and trying to rip it off. Shiny cars scare me

That is a beautiful car. Love the rear tires. I had a tie rod come apart when OI was driving on the street with my 1st car, 70 Duster. Missing cotter pin on a castle nut. Good thing I wasn't an the interstate. Jim

And people have the nerve to say that Rat Rods are built like junk and aren't safe.
We know better. Don't we.:D [cl

thats my point!!!!

not saying all rats are built well and not that all shiny cars are built bad

That's a cool car for sure.
Must be work on Coupes week. This 28 Ford showed up to my place yesterday afternoon for pretty much the same stuff as that one.
Had to take the tire off to get my 37 in under it for the night.
