I'm not good at keeping up with build threads but I'd like to post some pics of my project, comment or if you see something really screwed up tell me about that too. Had to pull the 427 BBC out for some work and I have to fab all the door glass channels and get glass cut plus some small stuff. I have made a rear bumper and got it installed since the pics. I installed a triangulated 4 link, poly bushings, that I don't like. May change it later.

Love it. I want one. Saw the 34 Dodge version the other day similar to yours.

It has great lines. Sits right. Once you iron out those little problems you will have a hot rod that is fun to drive and a real good looker too.

Thanks for all the positive replies, I'd post some build pics but I lost a bunch of them. Here are some details, .070 over 427 BBC, 650 lift hyd roller, Liberty square port alum heads, 11 to 1 JE pistons, H beam rods, steel crank. 850 Holley, Team G intake. 350 turbo with Coan parts, 8.8 explorer rear end, 3.55 posi, I narrowed the one side to center the pinion. Body came from Colorado, it was kind of a mess, I straightened it up some and shot semi flat enamel on it, it's not a show car, I don't like polishing and cleaning much anymore. I'll try and get some shots of my crappy interior work and show you all how not to do upholstery.

Ok, you all asked for more pics, here we go. Got a pic of the inside and the professional interior work, floors are done in rubber mat and this stuff is great. I got the vinyl, $13 a yd, mat $34 yd, from Miami Corp in Cinn Ohio. They have screws, vinyl, really good glue and several more things. Shipping isn't bad either. It'd be great if you knew how to use it also, my case not so much. Pic of the rad and home made fan shroud, trans cooler under the rear of the car. I got a thermostat controlled fan as soon as I wire it up. Pic of my Custom rear bumper made out of a driveshaft, recessed fire wall along with all the crap hanging from pulling the engine. The firewall was flat, plus it had about half the stk floor that had been channeThe thing ed 4 inches welded in. Doors wouldn't come close to shutting. I cut all the floor out which helped the doors some and since I wanted the BB to set back more I started cutting the firewall out. When I did it kinda sounded like a small bomb went off and the doors started lining up. Apparently they didn't brace the body at all. Grille shell is fiberglass and I made the insert with some old screen. The piece of screen wasn't big enough so I welded it up the center and put a piece of stainless tubing, cut it long ways, up the center to hide the welds.

The little thing in the back window that sticks out like a sore thumb is a 3rd brake light, it's going to disappear and I'll mount a black one I got above the back glass on the body. Need all the help you can get with idiots on cell phones. Now since I've wrote a novel I'll have to decide if I'll publish it or not.

Looking good, vht. Looks to be built as a reliable, solid driver. That' the best kind of hot rod.
