1940 ford Steering wheel info needed

How hard is it to find a useable 1940 ford steering wheel and nut that holds it to column? How many years will fit?Any sources?
Thinking about buying 1940 ford column but would like to know how hard the missing pieces will be to get and what to expect to pay.Thanks

Does anyone make an adapter to put a cheap grant ,etc, wheel on 1940 column?thanks

Pretty much the same up tp 1948. Sources Ebay, HAMB classified, any Vintage Ford parts sites. Nuts are easy to find look for any Vintage Ford parts sites. Yes, there are adaptors check Speedway Motors.

I have a couple old Ford & Merc wheels that would fit. Probably cheaper than an ugly Grant too.
