I have got a 1940 ford steering column with no key and ignition switch is off.
Anyone know the best way to remove ignition switch while doing as little damage to column as possible?
Do I drill it or what?
This is my first time working with one of these so I have no idea where to start.
My new ignition switch will be in dash.
I just need old one out so steering shaft will turn.
I never knew they had locking steering columns back in 1940.
Live and learn.
thanks
