Swedged steel tubes... suspension links... Anybody use them?

We used swedged steel tubes for lower control arms, trailing arms, strut rods, etc. on stock cars without any failures. I have seen tubing with bungs welded in them fail-because they weren't plug welded and no bevel ground between the bung and tube before being welded. The swedge tubes held up from 1/2 mile high bank at Odessa MO to Pikes Peak 1.25 Speedway. Will work on a street car.
