Well, it's been a while since I've done anything substantial to the coupe. Been drivin' the wheels off her mostly. Finally got off my butt & started some small things I started a while back.
Couldn't see squat out of the peep mirrors so replaced them with a set of swans from Parr.

Cleaned up a couple of spots & got it registered so that it could get on Ft Knox for a show & some drive time to work,,,,,,,,,,,,

The seams & one spot in the back are the extent of bodywork for this baby. There is a spot or two in the back seat area & trunk that need patch panels, also.

Right after I bought it, I threw a pair of turn downs on the pipes. This weekend I shortened the pipes to make the turn downs less dangerous. (I've clipped my shins & calves more than once on them. This is extremely temporary as I'm in the process of making the brackets to mount the lake pi-pes I picked up this past March. Unlike the majority of cars using lake pipes, these will be functional.

So when are you going to take the torch to the top? Looking good! I helped my boy chop his 48 4 door Plymouth sedan, well now its a 3 door.;) They look pretty sweet hammered.:cool:
 
Nice !whens the chop top pics comin on ,say bout 6'' will do nicely!!!
looks like it could be a lote of fun to drive as is for a while though!least till summers over.:D
