Car girl from Michigan

Hi all,

Thanks for the add to this forum! I'm in Traverse City, MI (where car enthusiasts, especially rat rod owners, are few and far between). My old cars include a 1961 Cadillac Series 62 and a 1952 Ford gasser project. I don't have a rat rod yet, but that doesn't mean I don't love them. I hope to have one someday when the other projects get "finished".

Welcome to RRR! How about some pics of the Caddy and gasser?

Hi and welcome to RRR from northern Alberta.
Most of the guys still tolerate me, and I haven't shown them a ratty ratrod yet. I believe we like to see someone building a hotrod and maybe not worry too much about what genre it's in.
Now, about all of those pictures you're going to show us.

The gasser is not yet a gasser. Right now it is a shell waiting for us to breathe some life into it. It was a 1952 Ford Crestline Victoria two-door hardtop that we found rotting into the ground under a bunch of pine trees. So, not much to see yet. This is what she looked like after pulling her from the woods:



Now all the paint is stripped off, engine and interior ripped out, and some panels have been replaced.


But the Cadillac runs

Welcome from TN! I have family up in Michigan, not quite as far north as you.... That Vic will make a nice gasser!!! I have gaser fever BAD.... love the caddy too.... that looks like a sweet riding automobile.
