Hello all....
I am glad to see so many of the names that I respect here.
And thanks to the individual who offered me the invitation to join.
All of us learned a valuable lesson at KB. It got weird and out of control fast.
It all boils down to common sense and RESPECT.

I'll be back in the U.S.A. in a week, can't wait to get back to building.
I buy through eBay and online sites, everything is usually waiting for me
when I get back home.
Getting very close to getting the Dodge on the road again.

Thanks for having me here.

Abroad.........

With that avatar and the abroad comment....... good laugh....;)

I work on the north end of Sakhalin Island, Russia.
(The island north of the Japanese islands) See the maps.
On the Sak-3 map, I fly into Yuzhno (dot at the bottom), take a 14 hour
train ride to Nogliki (dot in the middle), and then drive to an area on
the beach just below Okha (dot at the top).
I get all the mud and sand off roading that you could ever want on that last drive. :)

I manage a diesel fuel tank farm that supplies a remote drill site and process site, plus the hundreds
of pieces of support equipment..vehicles, generators, heaters, construction equipment, etc.
Extreme weather occasionally, on the beach literally, and always interesting.

I have 18 Russian guys working for me, most love the hot rod cars and culture that goes with it.
I do my best to expose them to it.
I have supplied many tee shirts, caps, and magazines to my crew.
And believe me, they wear them proudly (caps and tee shirts  )
Other than wheels and tires, it is illegal to change the vehicle here.

A month here, a month at home...most of the time.
Sorry, this got a little long winded, but it should cover the overseas part of my life
(the part that gets me the money, but not the time, to build my car).

WOW,
Gone a month and home a month. (paying honeydo's 20 out of 30 days) OK, I could see where 10 days every other month wouldn't leave you much time to tinker.
I'm just picking at you...LOLOLOL.....
I would rather do my year at a time overseas and be done with it.
