Made the deal today, going to pick it up on monday, paid less for it than l thought he would want--

$2OO.OO:eek:

it's going to be fun loading it, says he has a back-ho to help get it on the trailer.

plans are to put it on the S-1O front halved chassis we got for--

$2OO.OO:eek:

AND l know where there is a running 327 SBC for--

$2OO.OO:eek:

l see a pattern here[S

panel has a 116 inch wheelbase and the chassis has a 116 inch wheelbase and that will help a lot to get the two mated up as one unit.

probably gonna need a different passenger side front door. l think there the same as the truck and makes them easy to get.

I freakin' love AD panels Skull! I think that door might hammer out from the inside and keep that character.:) A couple more $200 dollar bills should put it back on the road then right? Going to be eagerly watching this. Please post lots of build pix.

things

the weird part about all the stuff l been finding is l quit looking for stuff to drag home and now it's just falling in my lap left & right:confused:

sold 4 in the last two weeks to par down the fleet.

AND l need to get back on THAT because l have a car show first week-end in August l want to take her to even if l have to trailer her and need it to at start up so people can here the 454 roar.

awesome deal! I agree with e-man... (unless you want high gloss black & shiny chrome  ) looks like that door can be fixed ,but you may need to cut the door frame to get decent access to the outer panel.

I had my 50 GMC panel sitting on a stone stock 1999 GMC Sierra 1/2 ton 4 WD chassis. It sat only a bit higher then the stock 1950 GMC chassis until I put some meats on it.[ddd
Outside edge of the tires were flush with the outside edge of the fenders. I used that because I didn't want to have to use wheel spacers as some do with the S-10 setup.

I know some use spacers with S10 chassis swaps but it's really not necessary when you have the right wheel spacing. Then again, most of the full size swaps I see the wheels are too far out, so to each their own.

she's home[cl

loaded it with the little bob cat, actually loaded fairly easy.
