I've seen ones like them before but can't put my finger on the name.

I think the wheels are made by Rocket

Salt Flats, I believe.

My bad. they're not rockets. Not sure they are american racing salt flats either. It looks like they take a machined center hubcap that covers the hug nuts. Has it on front wheel and not on rear.[S

they attach with 1 big rivet to the hub... shouldnt be hard to i.d.

Yeah they're neither of those. Those aren't cheap wheels. They've got similar styling points to the Billet Specialties Bonneville G wheel but they're different again (for the better, in my opinion).

Thanks for the links Doc. According to this link, they're custom Schott Wheels. https://www.hotrod.com/articles/gas-ex-mike-janie-braswells-1941-willys-street-car/

They seem to be a modification of the Schott Magnitude wheel.

I've really liked the looks of those low profile steelies since I first saw them.

Saw this recently. Glass out, doors chained. May have been a cool rose color. Second Edsel wagon I have seen go demo derby.

I was surprised to learn that those "steelies" are actually billet aluminum. They look great though.

And that's why I don't go to demo derbies anymore. Even if someone claims a car is "too far gone", chances are someone can use something off it in a more productive manner.

That said, my 455 came out of a demo derby car. I definitely got the best parts of that car.
