OK now you started it ...HERE's the DEAL :Sycamore Drive-in ,Bethel, Ct was the the home of what was billed at the time as : "the Nation's Most Famous Cruise Night" ....Summer Cruise, produced by Time Tunnel productions..Patterned after American Grafftti and the the California Cruise...it soon becomae the place to be from '82-'87. Cars from 8 states showed with over 40 clubs represented.AND THAT WAS EVERY SAT NIGHT! It was covered in over 25 newspapers ,including The New York Times. The photos of the the "film Crew" night were when PM Magizine came in from Boston to shoot for the nationally syndicated TV show at the time. Notables that appeared include :Terry Cook (Lead East) Publisher Tom McMullen all the way from Ca., Red McCormick and his Caddy with roof mounted machine guns, THE founder of WWF in his T-Bucket, Hall & Oates with their '55 Chevy, most of the Ct Street Rod Assoc.,and How do I know all this ?.....Well.... I Ran it with Digger Dave !
