I got the seals from Steele Rubber. I think they have any and all breeds.
The glass, I just watched on Ebay until I found some that I thought
was priced right. I saw them from $60 to $225 for the pair. I paid the
$60. Then I found just the right one for $35 after I broke one.

The steele rubbers are the

universal cut as required type I assume? So what's the skinny on the glass....you found them on ebay? Ready to drop in....?

You say drop in like it should have been easy. It was a pain.
Yeah I was surprised how many I actually found. The glass is
larger than the hole and sits inside the pinch seam. The rubber
has to be off set which the first set wasn't. I called Steele and
they said all their seals are made to factory specs and guaranteed
to fit. And they did. The curved glass was hard to keep the seal on
it during install. I wouldn't hesitate to buy from them again.
Kinda pricey but it fit.

Just amazing you found glass that easy....

did you use the old sting trick on the rubbers to get the lip over the glass and seated? Just wondering.....:D

HELP!!

In bad need of time, money and ambition.
Please advise if you have the answer to my problems before I do something
silly like go fishing or something.

Move here, then you won't want to go fishing till spring.

Waiting for warm weather is getting me motivated to get my truck all ready to go so in the spring I can just turn the key! I know it won't happen but a guy can dream.

Dream on, it's the cheapest thing about these hot rods.

New Look

Took the duals off and stuck some 285/70-17 tires and wheels on.
Definitely a lot less traction but also a lot less weight and rolling mass.
Which translates to burnouts.

The wife says I need to grow up but I refuse.
