Ever seen one of these? It's from an old welder, Hercules Power. No idea of how old it is but I thought it was kool so it came home with me. Rat rod worthy I think, about Model A size. Took out the rad and scrubbed it a bit to see the embossed logo.

Hercules Engine Company went bankrupt in 1999, then a group of investors bought the inventory and reopened under the name Hercules Manufacturing. The Hercules engines were used in a lot of trucks in WWII as well as equipment like welders and generators.

I haven't seen a Hercules engine in years....

Isn't the Hercules engine what's in the Old deuce and a halves?

Yup, used in a lot of military stuff.

It will be wall art for a while in my workshop to build some inspiration [S . :confused:
I do have an old Chevy drop axle and a Packard Straight 8 in inventory - hmmm.....:cool:
