It is good to put that kind of information in a post, incase someone thought it was the flammable type.

Hey, I have a question for a machinist , or a Drive - shaft expert ... I recently got a drive-shaft cut and made shorter .. . the shaft was bent at the end ,, I couldnt see it as far as looking at it . But he cut it and put it back together and he said he got most of the warp , out of it ,, he said it still had about 50 thousands out . he dont have a balance machine or nothing like that so he done the best he could .. My question is ,, will it vibrate ? is this out enough to make a difference ? I have no clue of what it came from , it come from a pile in a Junk yard .. I do know its a ford ..If I knew what it come from Id get another just in case .. The drive-shaft specialists (shop)wants $150 just to shorten one and balance it . and it 1hr. and 40 min. away. (oh) and no warranties on used stuff ..Is there a site that gives spects and all on all ford drive shafts ? Maybe I can find out what it come from.. If I dont have too ,, I dont want to put $300 plus in a drive shaft .
