Default ride help!!!

ok guys I have 37 ford slantback.. 302 ,,t5 5speed..i got it in there with out splitting the wishbone front end is stock with disc brakes and gas street rod front from speedway.. an the ride sucks!! tar strips will knock your teeth out.. front spring is greased good that helped but not much,,front spring has 8 leafs,,can I take 2 out ? what ones ? or what can I do to get some kind of ride out of it?..only been on the road 6 weeks..at first it did not bother me but now its taking the fun out of driving it,,need help guys..somebody has got the solution to get this better...help a brother out lol thanks vince

I would take the second and the fourth leaf out...
