It's a sickness, I tell ya

Got plenty of car building on my plate, but.. Just couldn't help it. I had to dig the Dodge (not Fargo) out from its tarped place under the pines. Set the pieces in place to see what I have to work with. It looked better under the tarp! Will have to make a whole new bed, using the hardware from this one. Much shorter though.

This might take a while.

I drove 3 1/2 hours into the Wisconsin countryside to pick up this 1929 Dodge truck frame. Spent more on gas than the $65.00 the frame cost.

That's Pearl. She's camera shy, Nice butt though,

Boy, I tell ya, the freeways are really choppy round here. I have a heavy duty half ton and it's like driving on a log road.

Cut the centers out and weld on a new rim to get rid of the two piece.
I'm going to look into that. See if the dimensions work out. The centers are riveted so they should come out with a little persuasion. Need to drill a new bolt pattern too.
