Default Careful!

I intended to break in the cam in my Anglia today. This, after a long time chasing technical problems. After a while I tore out all the wiring and redid the whole car. Changed a crap ton of other stuff too. In the end, it was a bad connection on the motor ground strap.

Anywho, I started the car and it backed itself out of the garage. I ran after it and managed the jam it into Park before it hit anything. I knew I wired the neutral safety switch correctly. BUT, I was using a remote starter button, which bypasses the safety switch and the shifter was in reverse.

Coulda had some bent English sheet metal.

Holy chit Bob, that was close, I'm always afraid of that happening.

Don't give up, it's far too much fun once you can drive it.
