Well, I went and bought a HF tubing roller and didn't want to give them $49 for the stand so I made my own this morning [;)
Also bought a 4 ton jack. I'm gonna do the modifications like Swag except, I'm gonna use a gear motor instead of the HF pipe threader :)

I'll post the roller modifications as I do them.

I bought the smaller one from Northern. I thought about a stand mounted to the floor but have since decided to use my reciever hitch on my truck to make it portable. Not at that point in my build though.....

weld on.....[;)

Great Job! Mine is so rebuilt, it is hard to recognize. It is powered by a HF overhead hoist motor, and the top plate is now 5/8 inch plate, and a inch and a half nut and bolt. All the dies have been drilled out for larger pins. It works much better now.

Yes but, they're only 1/2"
They are $49 a set of three.
I bought two sets to start with, one set I put on my lathe and cut the grooves to 1".
I'll be getting a couple more sets and making 3/4" and 1 1/4" just to have.
If you don't have a lathe, you can also buy rollers from Swag or take them to a machine shop which might be cheaper than Swag.
When I modify the roller with the hydraulic jack and add the wing extensions I'll post some more pics.

Had a few minutes today so I figured no better time then now.
I made the hydraulic jack extension and put it on top of the HF tubing roller yesterday

Then today I made the roller wings and welded them on

Next I'll put the jack return springs on and as soon as Wally gets back from his vacation, I'll go to his place to get a gear motor to make it power :D
