The ceiling in my shop is only 8' high and is covered with flat sheetrock. Not going to hang much off that ceiling, I'd hit my head on it every time I walked past it.

One of my favorite parts of a build

Fuel lines ran, wiring ran to the rear of the truck, ignition switch wires and the main fuse setup is wired. Still have lots to do but progress is being made. Still have a bunch of wire to put in loom underneath the dash, still have to do the AC stuff. I have a Ford performance wiring harness for the engine. It's laid out over the top of it I just need to figure out what needs to be hooked up where and then what needs to be tied into the truck harness.

Spent time looking up the wiring from the fuse block out. Also got the engine fuse box mounted and started getting that harness routed to the engine. Trying to find a place to hide the computer. Running out of room hahahaha

I had a set of Speed hut gauges in my 39. I liked them a lot. I just put the donor truck factory instrument cluster n my 49 to get it on the road. Maybe some day it will get a real set of gauges.

Progress!! I got the fuel tank finished and final installed. I used a tank from a mustang on this build. Go figure they didn't have a new one for the van!! I built a block off plate for the original filler hole. Then drilled a new one in the side of the tank to match up with the filler neck I built. Set up the sending units, set the depth on the fuel pump and soldered all my connections under the van.

I also got the 1/0 batter cables ran from the back of the van from the batter location to the front where they needed to be hooked up.

The computer also found itself getting mounted under the driver's seat. Now it's up to my upholstery guy to hide it hahahaha

Started on the wiper system tonight. I had to ditch the original stuff cause the brake master cylinder sits right where the motor use to. I'm using a cable driven system soni can move the motor to a spot where it will have room. The new wiper arms have a smaller stud then the originals. So I made some adapters out of 1.5" aluminum.

Got back at it early this morning. Finished up the second cap for the exterior of the van. They should work, I think 🤔 hahahaha

Not really a lot picture worthy this week but I did get the electric power steering all hooked up. Seems to work pretty good sitting here in the shop so it should work real well going down the road. Also started getting the wiper components installed. Got the little aluminum pieces I made painted and installed. Also got some other wiring tidied up and got a couple of the sensors installed in the intercooler piping. Ordered a bunch of stuff to get the intake built. My tuner is supposed to c
