At a recent burger joint meet up I parked next to a fellow rat traveler with his 53 Plymouth.

With its 350 SBC with thumper cam and open fenderwell headers it gets a lot of attention, but what is not noticeable at first is the hundreds of skulls within the patina all over the car.

The inside green skull and flames catches the eye, but look closely, not only the patina, but the roof which has the only real paint on the car, is ghost paint that has, you guessed it, skulls throughout. Take a close look at the roof pic

Hoods... we don't need no stinkin' hoods!!! [ddd

BoB

I agree ... nothing says screw the world like a car with no hood. I had mine off for awhile because it kept popping open on me. I removed the nose spring, and I use my 'can opener'...a scraper to get it open, so I can stick my fingers under there to lift. It is getting to be a pain in the butt lately with screwed up hinges so now I am tempted to remove it again.
