I am starting a rat rod with the frame from a 98 chevy s10. I bought it straight out of the junkyard. I not quite sure the direction that I need to move in from here. I do know that I want to go in the way of a truck but that's about it.

'47-'53 Chevrolet/GMC AD trucks fit fairly well on the S-10 chassis. Whatever you do, PLEASE keep it full fendered! The S-frame can be a good platform for a budget truck build, but make sure it's covered. Lots of ugly going on there...

BTW - Do an intro.

cover

if he covers the ugly frame with fenders, may as well leave the IRS.

it would save money, time, still keep the disc brakes, ride & handle better, make figuring out the steering easier and be easier to find parts for.

as l figure it; if it ain't broke, don't fix it:D

Later :cool:

ps

what B E D said;

please Do an intro.
