In march this year I bought me a 1949 Ford F1 projectcar in Buffalo, TX.
I took for about 2 months to get to me...(Houston TX <---> Rotterdam, Holland)
This is how I bought it:

Bart, looks like you've got a good start. How hard is it for you to find American parts in Europe? Those small block chevy motors like your 327 are really common here in the states. I would guess that the internet makes it much easier to find what you're looking for.

Thanks for the photos.[P

@ drewski

It's pretty difficult to find 'good' parts over here...our junkjards are full of german and french rubbish, but old us-parts are rare here...
Thank god for Ebay!! :D

And maybe RRR can help a little...........:)

Lost my old photobucket account....:(

Some work done:

Rear fenders are on the car again.
Lots of rust-repairs and frenched 50's pontiac lights:

Looks like a nice ride! Why you want to go ruin it with that chevy motor?[S

That Striping sure looks good wish I had some skills like that.

I really would like to have a Ford flathead in it....but those are very rare over here, they cost a fortune..... But if someone will donate me one, I will change my plans..:D

I had this engine laying around in my shop so....I don't mind...it's a '68 327ci.

Some painting done on the doors:

I spoiled my engine with some goodlooking valve cover, mallory with transparant cover. And block huggers wich will be a double 2" exhaust with Smithy's glaspacks.
