Well with all the snow on the ground I have had time to start on the Binder project. I am starting with a 47 KB-2 body, chrysler BB400, ford 9 in rear, 2x4frame. Plan to do an air suicide front with original axle and air 1/4 eliptical cantilever rear. The bed will be shortened to 4' and the cab chopped 4-5" .
Just a quick thanks to this RRR family, all these post from everybody makes a donting task seem doable. Love that there is all skill levels here and lots of encouragement with very helpful advice.
O.K. enough B.S. heres some pics!

chalk crime scene!!

Ahh... got caught steeling everbodies individual build ideas:cool:
Maybe i'll try to have a credit page posted when the build gets done?
I got started on the front axle today. Cleaned it up and tryin to get the hubs and disc-brakes put on. When I got the truck from the neighbor, he couldn't find one of the front wheel hubs and thought no big deal. Well I decided I wanted to use the old I-beam axle anyways and ordered parts for a disc conversion. I had to have the missing hub!! So I went to his place today and was able to find it still attatched to the original tire barried in about a foot of snow along with the other front tire and 16" rim. Need to give credit for the front disc conversion to WildmanBill from the oldihc forum. He had all the Speedway catalogue parts and #s plus what you could get at local parts house to complete job. Defininetly saved a lot of time there.

location

I live in Warden which is between Moses Lake and Othello.
cylcledog...which side of Spokane is Spangle on...heard of the town, just not sure if I have been there?
The shops just got enough elbow room to squeeze around:rolleyes:

Yup I know where Warden is. I am in between Spokane and Rosalia, to the south of Spokane, I am in the last of the trees before the Palouse begins.

Ih farm rat

I have not made as much progress as I had hoped but got the new wheel bearings, seals and front discs put on front axle. Also pulled a 9" rear out of a 73 gran torino today. There is also a pic of my first attempt at a paint job when I was 16 on the old chev 2-ton truck.
