Motor In!

Well Jr. has made somemore progress...He got the 350 and 700r RIPPPPED :eek:out of the 94 and set in place in the s10 chassis...he used v8 s10 motor mounts and installed them backwards to set the motor back 3"....he had to make a plate for the mounts cause they were going to hit the block where the fuel pump plate is...I think it was 3/4 " that he spaced the motor to the mounts....he used the tranny crossmember and just mounted it at an angle....should work[S:D...he also got some of the exhaust installed now for it's easier to do without a body on it....had to get a new cross over pipe for he wrecked the old one takin out the motor....Rookie:rolleyes:...gettin closer to the body[cl

Mounting The Cab!

Stopped over at Jr's to give him some advise and wisdom:rolleyes: on how to mount the cab to the chassis....He had some GRUNTS....I mean co workers stop over the other day and hand bombed the cab and front end onto the s10 chassis:eek:...strong backs...weak backs later in life...anyway things are progressing and the stance is looking nice and lowww...I helped him roll it ouside so we could center the wheels in the fenders and make sure it looks in proportion...its lookin good I like it...I'll keep you posted as it happens.:)

Wiring Gauges

Junior's been busier than I can keep up with...summers are short around here and I have been takin advantage of it and doin anything hotrod or harley related...so posts have gotten ....well they haven't been.....so back to the chevy....junior used the wiring harness from the 94 chevy with the throttle body efi and used all the gauges...he just modified them to fit in the old gauge clusters of the 50 ....took a bit of work but ended up working out and they all work...the only difference is the needles...pretty cool.[cl:cool::)
