I had a 76 with poncho 350 went pretty good for a 70's smogger was the wifes car so I never tweeked it

as a teen a buddy had a 73 lemans sport coupe, came with a 350 indian. didn't take long and he found a 455 ho indian. well after a cam, and intake change and adding headers it ran very well till he tried to wind it up like a chevy.

That was one fun car! Supercharged 1.8L with slicks!

A friend of mine and I are talking about the next one. It may not have any bodywork at all. Maybe something like the exocet or Ariel Atom only simpler? Your basic Miata stripped down to not much more than drivetrain and suspension and a place to sit.
