Godzilla I just finished crawling all over the new Ford Godzilla 7.3 V8 pushrod gas engine. It's been a rumor for quite a while. I can verify that it is real. It looks like a GM pushrod engine. Go figure. I know someone through where I work that was working with Roush with it too. They...

What Did Ya Get Done This Weekend?

In all seriousness, from someone that is really not a fan of snakes; what is the reason for killing a rat snake? Do they have any negative impact on anything whatsoever?

It turns out that I work with a guy that owns/races a sprint car with an LS. He's one of the special project mechanics in the research shop at work. He knows the LS through and through. I can ask him about helping you out if you want. He's a heck of a guy.

Don't worry about blowing up. Oxygen is not flammable. If your gas supplier doesn't even label bottles, I'd really be considering my options for gas suppliers. Or are they maybe mislabled? I'm pretty sure I got a bad argon bottle from Airgas one time. I thought I just forgot how to weld...

I like the black mirrors too. Those clutch head screws are hard to get out. I welded nuts onto mine, and they also came out really well. I replaced them with stainless screws to hopefully avoid the problem in the future. They do sell spring kits for the door latches and window regulators...

    8literbeater and Earthmans weekend adventure

I've got some pictures, but I'm not sure how to post them since my photobucket is full, and they don't seem to be worth using anymore.

Each page needs some pictures. This is 1/2 in rod. I brought the end down to 5/16, and bumped the cone shaped area up to almost 3/4, and tapered it to a point.

Well... You could knock me over with a feather. I'm flattered. Each step is taking five times longer than it needs to, since I'm still figuring it out.

I have a plan. I thought about using set screws, I thought about hooks, but I was trying to think of something less refined. I decided to try something a little bit ehh, unnecessary. I hope it turns out. I should have some pics before the weekend.

I went to the races today and watched John Force crash. That guy does everything with extra flair. He went to the hospital. I hope he's okay. https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/motor/nhra/2018/02/25/nhra-great-john-force-crashes-hard-at-arizona-nationals/110839040/
