    Will a '63 289cu work with a c6 tranny?

    Will a '63 289cu work with a c6 tranny? Just like the title says. I got a lead on a cheap 63 289 and have a unknown year c6 tranny sitting around. Will these two mock up together or is there some alterations needed. Not sure if this is supposed to be in the engine or tranny forum.

    What do I have to do to make 40 Ford brakes work with a 70's ford 9"? I'm having problems trying to figure this out because the brakes are more of a banjo type brake if I'm correct??? and I would like to get away from that considering I'm dropping in a ford big block. I don't know too much...
