Making a little progress

Splitting the top. I already have it braced up inside with a 1" angle iron x

The top has a pretty big bubble I don't think it will be to bad but I have never done a chop any suggestions are welcomed!

starting the voyage on a 46 dodge brothers truck. Have the cab, an extra door, and a vision. Thinkin cummins power plant, 9" rearend, custom frame. The first bump ok at is how much to chop. Initial thought was 4" under rear window 3 from windshield. Any thoughts?
