I will have a look and see if they sell an hei that will work on a ford 400 motor.........I just want the damn thing to start and from what i am seeing, there is no reason for it not to start.......i was sure i was overlooking something simple, but now i am not so sure.

Turns out i was working with a bad bulb. My eyes are getting bad and i couldn't see that the lower filament was broken........Put in a new bulb and whaalaa.....

I am using a kit called rpc (racing power company), but they didn't include any instructions, so it's all hit an miss........

I tried that bob and still can only light the upper filament, no matter which bump i touch on the bottom of the bulb.......these bulbs are brand new, so i am lost.....maybe i will buy a better value bulb and try this again. I purchased cheap ass lights.......

The 1157 socket i have only has two wires and they are both black....So i am trying to figure out which black wire i need to hook my taillight wire too and which black wire i need to hook up to for my brake/turnsignal filament....from the image i attached, i thought it was trying to show which...

Okay, on an 1157 bulb , you have one pin lower on the bulb and one that is higher up on the bulb . The bulb only fits in the socket one way, which pin would lead to the brake light part of the bulb , the lower or the higher pin? I know its kind of a stupid question, but i can't find any info...

they are dietz headlights i bought from speedway motors...........came with everything, the buckets, rings, wiring and bulbs...Cost like 44 bucks.

Today i finally started the wiring process, this is a nightmare right now. Hopefully in a couple day's i will have some more pic's to share of working lights, etc....
