rear suspension The axle is just sitting there, nothing is welded. I machined the bushings that hold the rubber bushings. I welded them in and then pressed them in. It is all just in mock up.

Ladder Bar/Truck arms Here are the rear arms I have been working on. Not finished but close. Took awhile to decide how I wanted to set up the rear suspension. I was going to do conventional truck arms and couldn't afford to loose all the space along the inside of the frame. So this will keep...

parts Found these parts listed in Double Clutch magazine. The guy I bought them from got a lead on them at Hershy. I think they came from a closed dealership in Ohio. It was a good find. I almost feel bad using the front fenders on Rat rod and not a restoration. He had used what he needed on a...

Old machinery My Yoder Power Hammer! In the middle of machining my own tooling. I bought this as ready to run. It was far from it, it has a cool paint job but mechanically was a basket case. Now it just needs tooling!

A arms Not much progress to warrant pictures. Working on the A arms, machining the sleeves to hold stock rubber bushings. The A arms will be tubular and about 2" longer than stock. Here is a picture of the 50 Chevy rear fenders sitting on the floor. They are perfect. I am thinking a speedster...

just a mock up So the frame is tacked together good enough to set on the floor with engine in place. I set the cab over the frame to see how it looks and make more decisions. The more I work on this cab the more I think I should find another one. Well see. More parts are in so I can build the...
