Here's my New Year's sunrise, with a second picture a few minutes later.

I don't get up early enough to see the sun rise...
The sun set this time of the year would be over the top of buildings, phone poles with wires, and my neighbor's house (which you probably wouldn't want to see).

You all keep taking them, I sure like to look at them.

Miss the smiley face things already.

Gene, your big mistake is not living in northern Canada. If you lived up here you can sleep in as long as you want and still see the sunrise; -------- in the wintertime.
Of course, in the summertime, you have to be working the nightshift to see the sunrise.

You can use the emoji 's on your phone

There is smiley faces if you use the

icon. That provides a lot of smileys/emojis.

Dutch, unfortunately, that's what it looks like when a forest fire is rolling in here...beautiful still! What scares me is the forestry dept has already made the fire lanes around me to do another control burn. With their past record of letting them get out of control, it scares me a little. Last time I caught them torching my next property over neighbors land. I stopped. Told the clown that he was not on state land and was burning private property then called the neighbor.

Smallfoot, I can only imagine what being in the danger zone of a wild fire feels like. I live on the dryer sand grounds of the country and although last year was pretty wet, we had very very dry summers before. There are no lakes or rivers anywhere near me and I`ve often felt it`s just a matter of time before lightning or some idiot sets fire to the area I live in...

Thanks Guys, not very often I'm on the ball enough to catch the photo opportunity. That ugly pealing fence is the reason I don't have time for building cars.:(
