I have to agree with ya there, but it doesn't look as bad now as it did when the first guy bought it. He gawded it all up with tacky add on cliche' ****.

Hard to see in this picture, but look at lower corner of windshield. It depends on where you make your pillar cuts and how much you take out, sometimes you gotta do both cowl and roof

Sam, I don't split the roof corners, I pie cut the bottom cowl corners and bring them in. Makes it easier, for me anyway, when I do the door frames.

You've Probably seen a few at the big shows, tried to take something different every year, sometimes 2. I still have the 41 buick and the 51 Plymouth. The old crow has been sold many times and last I heard it was in Canada, that's also where the 57 Pontiac went. This is the last pic I seen...

With that being said, I'm currently doing a 2 door with a much more aggressive chop , 4 front and 6 back I'll apply the same principle but will still need to make up an 1 1/2" so my plans are to move the rear window up a bit as well as split it under window and stretch the package tray...

This is a 4 door fastback I did, so the roofline does have a different contour but this may help. This was also 3" chop. Hard to explain but remove the decklid sided, the trunk will be short due to the chop Here's the tough part to explain but "decrown" the roof, it will set the roof skin...

I do have some old build threads on here. The "old crow" 46 ford and the Packard both have complete build threads in the build section. Also did a lot of the beginning work on eights and aces Packard which also has a build thread on here.

No build thread on that one....yet. Just coming back here from not posting for a few years so I'll be sure to start one

I'm east of you iron rat, so I'm sure the snow is on it's way, been spared from it so far. But I'm watching the lions play in philly right now and there getting dumped on. Hopefully it swooped right underneath mid-Michigan!
