    SCORE!!!!!!! 1937 ford cab for the 34 frame :D Wel I scored a 37 ford cab for my now boxed in 34 frame. I am now 100% sure on the build, I was struggling with my mental picture of my other options. But would you look at this.. a ford cab for a ford frame; wierd concept huh? still puting a chevy...

    Body?????????? I have a 46 Dodge cab and a 41 Chevy cab, but I am not completely convinced that either one is exactle what I want. I will be looking for a body out of the 30's most likely and it must be a closed cab this time..... I can get the frame boxed and all the hairpins on and motor w/...

    answers No the distributor is a Spalding Flame thrower from the late 50's and Yes the air cleaner is a Nicson from the old Navy PT boats in Vietnam.:D:D

    Its a Spalding flame thrower :D The distributor is basically split in 1/2. instead of having 8 cam lobes for the points to operate on it uses 4 and has 2 rotors (on the same drum) and 2 distributor caps and 2 coils. from what i understand this system has advantages over a normal distributor...

    I scored a really nice 34 ford frame and have decided to turn it into my version of a late 50's style of traditional street rod with a flare of Bonneville.

    Well here is my great score, I have lots of hot rod buddys that will help me make this work. It is set up for a SBC but I don't know anything about this style ignition other then dual points and coils, pluss the cool factor[S any info and experience will help, thanks:D:D

    Well haven't been building for a while but, this is screaming at me to chop (or weld back together, after removing a several extra inches) So I am going to add a nice rake to the chop and slam it down really low with a few SBC ponies up front. What ya all think?:cool:

    al the trim and parts were inside and in very good shape. I have to go pick up the glass in the am. only glass missing is the windshield.
